About the event
As we draw toward the solstice, join us for an evening of empowerment, ancient wisdom, healing, and imagination. Sound healer Sabine Feuilloley and storyteller and Myth Lab founder Ingrid Norton will join together to offer the powerful resources of sound and myth. Norton will retell the Mesopotamian myth of "Ereshkigal and Nergal," in which the goddess of the underworld and a warrior god fall in love, a deep and powerful myth of fear, grief, eros, and transformation. This story is more than 4,500 years old: turning to ancient myths helps feed our imagination for ways to deepen our personal and collective lives today. Feuilloley will lead an opening and closing sound meditation and accompany the mythic story.
As the day darkens, come gather round for warm drink
by candlelight and a deep hour of sound and story.
